A landslide triggered by overnight rainfall has blocked the Sukhet–Jumla road section of the Karnali Highway, halting traffic from Gagane Khola to Humma in Kalikot district.
The landslide occurred early Monday following continuous rain since Sunday evening, according to the police.
A JCB has been deployed to clear the debris, police reported.
The disruption has stranded vehicles traveling between Kalikot, Jumla, Mugu, Bajura, Humla, and Surkhet.
