DHADING: At least 43 persons have sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling on met with an accident near Dhadingbesi, district headquarters of Dhading district, on Tuesday.

According to police 7 persons are said to be seriously hurt in the accident.

A bus (Ba 3 Kha 478) was heading to Dhadingbesi, district headquarters from Gumdi of Gangajamuna Rural Municipality, lost control along rural road and tumbled around 3 pm.

After primary treatment at the District Hospital the seriously injured passengers were referred to Trauma Centre in Kathmandu for further treatment, police said.

However, other injured passengers are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.

Accident site being just five minutes away from the district headquarters, locals, security personnel and Red Cross team reached the site and rescued the injured in no time.
