Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 823,980 on Saturday with 194 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 806,544 with 307 discharges logged today.
On the other hand, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll increased to 11,553 with one fatality.
The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 5,883 against 5,997 a day before.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 9,178 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 5,672 were PCR tests while 3,506 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,708,510 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 42 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests amount to 236.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 97.9%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.4%.
Currently, there are 98 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
The capital district holds the highest number of infections with 84 cases in the country. Lalitpur is second in line with 32 cases while Kaski has seven cases today.
So far, a total of 20,501,810 people has received coronavirus vaccine across the country, of which 11,260,549 have received the first dose while only 9,241,261 individuals have been inoculated with both the doses and are fully vaccinated.
As many as 266,988 people received Covid-19 vaccine today alone. The government has been providing around 200,000 doses of vaccine on a daily basis lately to bring as many as target groups under the ambit of the drive.
According to the statistics, among the target group, 55.5 percent people have got first dose while 46 per cent are fully vaccinated.
Globally, over 269 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus while 5.3 million people have lost their lives to the disease.
Likewise, over 242 million people have recovered while more than 21 million cases are still active.
