47 police buildings to be built

Province 3 government is preparing to construct 47 buildings for the police in the province.
As per the decision reached at a meeting organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law in Hetauda today, a directive has been given to the authority concerned to construct buildings for police units in the province.
Chief Minister Dormani Poudel said at the meeting that the responsibility of constructing the buildings was given to the police. He added that the province government had the target of completing the buildings by mid-July. CM Poudel urged everyone to finish work within the deadline.
Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Salikram Jamkattel said the construction work would go in full swing and resolve the ordeals of the police caused by lack of buildings. He said the buildings would be built as per need in different districts. According to him, Rs 1.1 billion was allocated for construction of the buildings. A theoretical agreement was reached in the meeting of the Council of Ministers on October 8.
A secretary at the ministry, Raj Kumar Shrestha, said seven buildings would be constructed in Makawanpur; six each in Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhuli; and five each in Chitwan, Ramechhap and Rasuwa; four in Dolakha and three each in Dhading, Nuwakot and Sindhupalchowk.
