BHOJPUR: At least five persons were injured after being struck by a lightning in Murtidhunga of Dhankuta on Tuesday night.

According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the injured have been identified as Renuka Thapa (17) and Januka Thapa of Murtidhunga-6, Indira Khadka (26), Hira Baral (35) and Pramila Khadka (25) of Murtidhunga-8.

Police said that the injured are receiving treatment at Primary Health Centre in Jitpur.
