GULMI: A conch kept in the sanctum sanctorum at the Bhagwati Temple of Marbhung VDC in the district was stolen.

According to the temple’s priest, the conch was offered to the goddess and had been kept in the temple for some 500 years ago.

The District Police Office, Gulmi, stated that a police team has been mobilised for searching for the antique conch.
