The microbus (Ra 1 Kha 1662) en route from Tulsipur of Dang to Nepalgunj and the truck (Lu 1 Kha 7729) en route from Nepalgunj to Dang collided near Muguwa stream of Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-9 at around 9:15 am, killing four passengers on the spot, informed incharge at Kohalpur-based Area Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Singh.

Two others died during the course of treatment at Kohalpur Teaching Hospital. Identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet. The injured are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
