BHOJPUR: A person died on the spot after he fell off a cliff in Dharmadevi Municipality-5 of Sankhuwasabha district on Tuesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Lila Bahadur Magar (63) of Dharmadevi Municipality-14 in the district.

According to police, Magar was returning from weekly open-market when he fell below the road at Chatpate Chok at 6:00 pm yesterday.

A team from Chainpur Area Police have completed investigation of the incident site and has sent the body of the deceased to a hospital for postmortem.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, informed Chainpur police.
