7 hurt in Tanahu road mishaps

Tanahu, March 24:

Seven persons were injured in separate road mishaps in Tanahu on Friday.

Six people travelling on a jeep bound for Turture from Dumre were injured when the jeep skidded off the road at Adherikhola at around 9 am.

Among the injured, the condition of Prem Thapa (20) was reportedly critical.

He was sent to Kathmandu for treatment. Other injured are Motiram BK, Shiva Lama, Kaku Gurung, Dinesh Lama and Rama Khadka. They are undergoing treatment in a local health centre.

One Dhruba Shrestha (19) was critically injured when a microbus heading to Kathmandu from Pokhara hit him at Tharpu bazaar along the Prithvi Highwayat around 10 am, police said.

Locals had disrupted the traffic for three hours after the accident.
