Seven students, who were arrested for protesting aga-inst the government decision to hike the price of petroleum products last week, were released on Friday. The chief of the central finance department of the ANNFSU, Heera KC, Hari Sharma, the joint secretary of the NSU district committee, are among the released. The NSU district president, Surya Prasad Gautam, said the government had filed cases of sedition against students leaders because the agitation launched by the students had shaken it. Meanwhile, the FSU of the Mahendra multiple campus has asked the government to take back the case.
