KANCHANPUR: As many as 96,771 insecticide-treated have been freely distributed to the residents of 38 wards of eight local levels in Kanchanpur – which is at high risk of malaria.

Grameen Bikas Adhar Sanstha distributed the nets with the financial assistance of Ministry of Health's Epidemiology and Disease Prevention Division, Global Fund and Save the Children.

Sanstha's Programme Coordinator Rabindra Yadav said the insecticide-treated nets were distributed freely in the malaria-prone areas selected by the local levels.
