Dhading, November 29:

A library has been set up inside the Dhading district jail in Dhadingbensi, the district headquarters.

The Kathmandu-based Victim Service Association (VSA), a social work group, which has been providing facilities to jailbirds in different prisons, established the library. Dhading Chief District Officer, Ram Sharan Chimoriya, today inaugurated the library.

Speaking at the inauguration programme, inmate Iman Singh Tamang said:

“It is good that we have got a library, but we are facing lots of other problems in this prison.”
