Birgunj, November 20:

Manager of Shiv Shakti Aluminum Industry, Binod Khetan, who was abducted from Bara’s Chhatapipra VDC yesterday, was released this afternoon.

Police rescued him from a house in Basdilcha VDC-5, where he was kept with both his hands tied, said APF SP Kaman Singh Thapa, adding Khetan sustained injuries on head due to abductors’ attack.

He was abducted along with a driver and two sta-ffers while he was on way to his home from work.

“We rescued him after a tip-off,” said Thapa. Khetan has been taken to a hospital for treatment.
