AABUKHAIRENI: A man died when a passenger bus met with an accident in Aabukhaireni 7, Tanahu on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Gurung.

According to the police the bus was heading to Kathmandu from Gorkha carring UCPN-Maoist workers who were heading to Kathmandu to participate in the Singha Durbar gherao programme.

Of the 52 injured, 49 are undergoing treatment at Janamaitri Hopital, two at Bharatpur Hospital at Chitwan and one at Bir Hospital, Kathmandu.
