Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 95%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.5%.

Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 775,548 on Friday with 961 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 736,666 with 1,660 discharges logged today.

On the other hand, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll increased to 10,924 with 21 more fatalities.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, 10,916 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 8,549 were PCR tests while 2,367 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,008,046 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 185 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests amount to 1,146.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 95%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.5%.

The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 27,958.

Currently, there are 252 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.

In the same time frame, 257 infections were reported in the capital city while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur reported 56 and 41 cases respectively.

Globally, over 224 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus while 4.6 million people have lost their lives to the disease.

Likewise, over 200 million people have recovered while more than 18 million cases are still active.
