The Weather Forecasting Division has announced that the country will remain largely cloudy today.
With the monsoon's low-pressure belt positioned over the Tarai region, Nepal is expected to experience active monsoon conditions over the next 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall is forecast in several areas of Madhes, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with some locations likely to witness torrential downpours.
In Karnali Province, one or two areas are also expected to receive heavy rainfall.
Tonight, cloudy conditions are anticipated across Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Moderate rain is likely in the hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali, while much of the Tarai belt is expected to receive moderate rainfall during the night.
