Chairperson of CPN (United Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the government to solve the economic problems facing the country, including those related to livelihood and high cost of living.

Speaking at a corner meet organised as part of the Socialist Awakening Campaign of the party in Kawasoti this morning, he also shared that his party had submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to solve the economic crisis of the country.

Also, former prime minister Nepal said the socialist awakening campaignfocuses on employment, good governance and prosperity.

The CPN (US) is active in favour of industrial development and is working to address the concerns of loan shark victims.

The campaign began from Kakadbhitta in the east on October 1 and has seen meetings in Birtamod, Damak, Urlabari, Biratchok, Itahari, Inaruwa, Bhardaha, Rajbiraj, Chinnamasta, Arnaha, Bhagwanpur, Siraha, Bandipur and Jadukuha, Janakpur, Jaleshwar, Dhalkebar, Lalbandi, Garuda, Harnaiya and Kalaiya.

The campaign has also passed through Birgunj, Pathalaiya, Hetauda, Manahari, Bhandara and Bharatpur.
