‘Campaign must to free Maoists in Indian jails’
Chitwan, August 4:
CPN (Maoist) central member Sonam today said that a larger campaign was necessary to press for the release of Nepali Maoists languishing in Indian jails.
Sonam said this while addressing a programme organised to felicitate four Maoist leaders who had recently been released from an Indian jail.
Four Maoist leaders including Sonam, Lokendra Bista, Kumar Dahal and central advisor Chitra Bahadur Shrestha had spent 26 months in the Indian jail before they were released on Tuesday.
“We have to mount pressure on the authorities concerned to secure the release of Nepali Maoists from Indian jails,” Maoist leader Sonam said.
