‘China PM to skip Nepal visit’

Chinese PM Wen Jiabao has decided to skip Nepal during his South Asian tour next month, an Indian daily reported today. “China is the only country to have backed the monarch’s February 1 move but keeping in mind Indian sensitivity, Wen has decided to drop Nepal from his South Asian itinerary,” The Telegraph said. The report said there are indications that the Chinese foreign minister may visit Nepal in April. Jiabao is to begin the tour of this region on April 5. He will first visit Pakistan.
