KATHMANDU, APRIL 22

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has written to all concerned bodies, urging them to facilitate the smooth supply of chemical fertilizers.

Although the country currently holds sufficient stocks of chemical fertilizers for the ongoing fiscal year, the supply system may face disruptions due to the conflict in West Asia. In light of this, the concerned bodies have been urged to take additional measures to ensure an uninterrupted supply.

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Gita Chaudhary, has written to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, the Department of Agriculture, the National Agriculture Modernization Programme, and the provincial ministries of agriculture, instructing them to make timely and necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth sale and distribution of fertilizers for the upcoming paddy plantation season.
