Phidim, May 3:

The Malaysia-based Bazaar Committee of Nepali workers has provided Rs 30, 000 to the families of two Nepali youths, Kumar Kattel of Phidim VDC-5 and Shyam Bishwakarma of Lumpha-bung VDC-1, who were murdered by Indonesian citizens in Malaysia on March 7.

Subash Shrestha, a Nepali working in Malaysia, said the committee decided to provide assistance to the victims’ families after reading the March 11 issue of The Himalayan Times. Bha-wani Ghimire handed over the money to the widows of the two men.
