Air service inaugurated

Rajbiraj, May 24

Minister for Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari inaugurated the air service from Rajbiraj airport in Saptari today.

At a programme, minister Adhikari said the government has given top priority to operate old airports rather than construct a new one. “Shree Airline will resume regular service from Rajbiraj airport from June 15,” he informed. Minister Adhikari urged the airline’s managing director Sudhir Mittal to be more service-oriented than profit-oriented.

Minister Adhikari promised the present government would look after Mittal if he provides better and reliable service

to service seekers. “The regular service will provide incentive even if the airline faces problems in the first 4 to 5 months,” he added. Federal Socialist Forum Nepal chair

Upendra Yadav and other ministers were present at the programme.
