Ambulance service shut in Janakpur
JANAKPURDHAM: Ambulance drivers staged a-sit-in protest along with their vehicles in front of District Administration Office claiming that the latter did not provide them with fuel in Janakpur on Saturday.
The drivers said they were compelled to protest as the fuel crisis caused by the ongoing Tarai agitation had hit them hard.
They complained that it was impractical to continue ambulance service by buying fuel in the black market.
“We cannot resume the service until fuel supply to ambulances is eased,” they added.
