The Nepal Progressive Students’ Union (NPSU), an organisation affiliated to the Communist Party of Nepal-Marxist, announced its merger with the All Nepal National Independent Student’s Union-Revolutionary on Monday. Issuing a statement, the immediate past president of the NPSU Raju Karki said the joint meeting of ANNISU-R and the NPSU held on January 4, 5 and 6 decided to go for a merger. A central committee meet of ANNISU-R, held here from January 4 to 6, has decided to make changes in its organisational structure.
