Another armed revolt?

TANSEN: Hemanta Oli "Sudarshan", in-charge of Magarat State Committee of the UCPN-Maoist, today threatened to launch an armed revolt if the people's supremacy could not be established in the country through peaceful agitation.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Magarat State Committee in Tansen, Oli warned that they would carry the weapons once again if their demands were not met. Karundhoj KC, central committee member, CPN-Maoist, said that they started declaring federal states as other forces were hatching conspiracies. Santosh Budha, coordinator of the Magarat autonomous state declaration programme, said 20,000 people will take part in the December 17 programme. Senior Maoist leader Ram Bahadur Thapa' Badal' is scheduled to address the declaration programme.
