KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 8

A Sherpa climber has gone missing in an avalanche near Larke Pass on Mt Manaslu.

Ang Tshering Sherpa of Khumbu Shangri-La Treks and Expedition said that a Sherpa climber from his company was missing when an avalanche struck Larke pass route on Mt Manaslu.

"We are trying our best to conduct an aerial search to try to locate our missing Sherpa climber," Sherpa said.

The incident occurred when Sherpa climbers were returning from Mt Manaslu. Details to follow.
