RAJBIRAJ: The Department of Drug Administration Biratnagar on Tuesday made surprise inspections of pharmacies in Rajbiraj and Rupani of Saptari district.

During the inspection, DDA took action against a dozen pharmacies for failing to register and keeping medicines haphazardly.

At many pharmacies, the Department also found that the person in charge at the time of the inspection was not the actual owner of the outlet.
