KATHMANDU: A man succumbed to injuries after receiving electric shock in Dhanusha district of Janakpur on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Sah (40), a resident of Machhabazaar in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-4, informed Constable Subas Tamang of the Janakpur Zonal Police Office.

According to the police, the deceased received electric shock while trying to charge a battery for his auto-rickshaw.

Tamang said Sah was rushed to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for treatment. But, he had breathed his last on the way.

His body has been kept at the Hospital itself, police added.
