JHAPA: Two Ayurveda hospitals have been established in Jhapa district to provide Ayurvedic treatment to the locals in their doorsteps.

The hospitals were established in Sharanamati and Chakchaki VDCs.

CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the hospital in Sharanamati VDC amidst a formal programme while Director General at the Department of Ayurveda, Dr Devkala Bhandari, inaugurated the hospital in Chakchaki on Monday.

With the two more hospitals, the total number of the Ayurveda hospitals in Jhapa has reached five, according to the chief of District Ayurveda Hospital Dr Surya Narayan Mehata.
