Bad weather halts flights at Bhojpur airport

BHOJPUR: Bad weather has disrupted flight between Bhojpur and Kathmandu for three consecutive days.

As many as five flights to and from Bhojpur have been cancelled owing to the adverse weather conditions, according to Narayan Pokharel, Station Chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation in Bhojpur.

Passengers who have no any choice but to take 30 minutes of hike to reach the airport in Taksar, Bhojpur, have been facing problems following the disruption in the schedule of their flights.

The Taksar Airport in Bhojpur will operate four flights along the Bhojpur -Kathmandu and Bhojpur-Biratnagar routes if the weather sees an improvement by Wednesday, the Taksar Airport authority said.
