Defense Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has urged all to shun bandhs and strikes until new constitution is drafted.

Addressing the inaugural session of 16th annual general assembly and 12th general convention of Chitwan Tempo, Micro and Minibus Entrepreneurs Organisation (CTMMEO) here today, Badal said the government was positive towards the rational demands of transport entrepreneurs.

Responding to the request of CTMMEO for considering their 19-point demand, Badal said, “I want to express solidarity to your demands. But you must decide not to organise any strikes and bandhs until the political stability is established in the country by writing the new constitution.”
