Bagmati Province Chief Minister Dormani Poudel on Friday laid the foundation stone of Provincial Agriculture Retail Market at Thanabharyang, in Hetauda, on Friday.
The retail agriculture market is being constructed in collaboration with Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.
Speaking at the programme, Chief Minister Poudel held that the retail market would be developed as an agro supermarket. He directed the contractor to complete the project at the earliest as it resembled the pride of the province. Hetauda's Mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat urged all and sundry to help complete the project on time as it was also the pride of the sub-metropolis.
Locals are expecting that the agriculture market will help promote the local agricultural produce and encourage the local farmers.
