HETAUDA, NOVEMBER 11

The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Rajendra Prasad Pandey today expanded his Cabinet by appointing two more ministers, taking the number of portfolios distributed to six.

When he was appointed as the chief minister on October 28, Pande had formed a four-member Cabinet.

The Nepali Congress' parliamentary party deputy leader Krishnalal Bhandel, CPN-MC parliamentary party deputy leader Kumari Moktan and CPN-Unified Socialist parliamentary party deputy leader Krishna Prasad Khanal were inducted as the ministers for Physical Infrastructure, Social Development, and Internal Affairs and Law respectively back then.

Days later, today, CM Pande expanded his Cabinet by appointing the NC's parliamentary party secretary Nima Lama and CPN- MC parliamentary party leader Shalikram Jamkattel as minister of Financial Affairs and Planning and as the minister of health respectively.
