BAITADI: A person died when a rock, rolling along with landslide, hit him at Rudreswor of Baitadi district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jane Od (50) of Rudreshwor-7, Pansera of Baitadi, informed DSP Mohan Prasad Pokharel of the Baitadi District Police Office.

He was working in the Chameliya River embankment site when the incident occurred. He died on the spot.

Od's body has been kept at the Gokuleshwor health post. The postmortem would be held later, police added.
