Bajura folks returning home from India for elections

BAJURA: Migrant workers from the district, mostly who are in India, are gradually coming home to vote in the local polls.

The local level elections are going to be held after about 20 years with a new federal set up, therefore, people have shown excitement for the poll.

A local of Budhiganga Municipality-10, Khamba Sarki returned home after eight years to vote.

Sarki returned from New Delhi to vote in the local polls.

Similarly, Dhansingh Rokaya of Chhededaha Rural Municipality-1, also returned home for the elections.

He had gone to India just before three months.

Rokaya shared that he returned home to file his candidacy.

Likewise, Ganesh Raule of Bhrahmatola, with his friends, also returned home for the elections.

Khadka Raj Joshi of Bitalmandu based  bus ticket counter shared that  about 400 to 500 locals everyday  were  returning home  from various places within the country and India these days for the elections.
