BAJURA: A local social worker donated a land costing more than Rs 200,000 to Kurpekot Lower Secondary School in Pipalgaun of Jayebageshwori in Bajura district.

According to Principal Jagat Bahadur Shahi, Harka Bahadur Thapa had donated his property to the school.

The school that runs classes upto grade eight has 250 students.

Thapa had donated the land to construct new building as the old one is not sufficient for the growing number of students.

The school that established around four decades ago lacked physical infrastructure and land for the new one.

Most of the schools in the district lack physical infrastructures and human resources, creating problems to cooperate classes.
