Bajura teen in dire need of financial support to fight cancer
BAJURA: Seventeen-year-old Nabin Padhya of Triveni Municipality-7 in Bajura district, who is suffering from seminoma cancer, is in dire need of funds to fight against the disease.
Nabin Padhya is being treated of seminoma, a germ cell tumour in the testicle (left side), at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital in Chitwan district.
Meanwhile, the doctors have said that seminoma is a treatable cancer, which could be treated in six months time, but would cost a huge sum.
However, Nabin's parents are struggling to meet the expenses required for their son's treatment due to their poor economic background.
Nabin's father Ramesh Raj Padhya said, "Although I brought my son here, I am worried about his treatment."
Likewise, Nabin's mother Deuma Devi Padhya said, "Almost all parents at this are exchanging wishes for their children's success in SEE results, however, we are worried about saving our son."
Badimalika Boarding School's principal Abhi Narayan Niraula said the school has launched 'Save Nabin' campaign to collect funds for his treatment.
Meanwhile, people from all walks of life have extended their financial support to save Nabin.
Recently, Nabin graduated from Grade X with 3.30 GPA in his Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results.
