Kathmandu, October 4:

The government of Bangladesh today provided $100,000 for flood victims.

Imtiaz Ahmed, envoy of Bangladesh to Nepal, handed over the cheque for the sum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today at his residence in Baluwatar today, a press statement issued by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu said.

“This token contribution affirms that Bangladesh stands by the side of Nepal in difficult times,” the press statement added.
