RAJBIRAJ: An officer of the Rural Development Bank Saptari has fled with 2.4 million rupees of the bank. Officer Tarani Prasad Sardar disappeared with the money about a week ago which was supposed to be invested to the different groups of local women of the area. Ramchandra Mehata, manager of the bank, confirmed that Sardar had fled with the money on June 3. Mehata informed that they had filed a case against him in the district administration office. Deputy CDO Hom Bahadur Khadga said that they had issued and arrest warrant against Sardar.
