A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Changunarayan Municipality and Lord Buddha Education Foundation to provide scholarship to deserving students from the municipality in the bachelor's level.
The scholarship aims to produce capable technical human resources in the municipality.
Mayor Som Prasad Mishra and the Foundation's President Pankaj Jalan signed the MoU according to which at least three students from the municipality selected by the municipality would get full scholarship while at least four students would get 50 per cent scholarship.
Similarly, at least five students will get 25 per cent scholarship in each new academic session for BSc Information Technology in the Asian Pacific University, according to the municipality.
The MoU was signed to produce capable technical human resources to aid in building Changunarayan as a digital municipality as well as to increase access of diligent students from low-income families to higher technical education
