INARUWA: Naya Shakti Party Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai has insisted on the need for amending the Constitution without any further delay.

Taking part at an interaction in Inaruwa on Tuesday, former Prime Minister Bhattarai said that the Constitution amendment was essential to institutionalise secularism, democracy and federal republic, the major achievements of the Constitution.

He was of the view that that the statute should be amended to achieve a durable peace in the country.
