BHOJPUR: People across the country are in the festive mood with Dashain at their doorstep, but locals in Bhojpur have been cut off from the power supply for two days.

Stating that the 33 KV electrical line has been disrupted, the Nepal Electricity Authority has cut off the electricity supply to the Bhojpur district headquarters and neighbouring areas since Sunday.

Everyday works as well as clerical works have been affected in the areas since yesterday.

The NEA District Distribution Centre has assured that personnel have been deployed for the maintenance of the supply line.

However, delay in maintenance and lack of alternative power supply has made it difficult for the people to work here.

The district has seen similar disruptions in the past as well.

Meanwhile, locals have requested the NEA to solve the problem at the earliest.
