BHOJPUR: Police said they are searching for an absconding man accused of killing his wife in Bhojpur district on Thursday.

Raj Kumar Basnet had allegedly stabbed his wife Sushma with a sharp weapon.

It has been learnt that the couple were returning home from Basthim VDC after registering their child's birth.

The motive behind the alleged murder is yet to be ascertained, informed police.

The body of the deceased has been taken to the Bhojpur District Hospital for postmortem.

Meanwhile, police are searching for the alleged murderer.
