BHOJPUR: Bhojpur Municipality in the eastern hilly district of Bhojpur district is going to be declared a plastic-free area soon.

The decision about the ban of plastic bags in the Municipality will be implemented from December 1.

According to Tula Raj Thapa Magar, Executive Officer of Bhojpur Municipality, after the implementation of decision, if the residents of the area are found selling or using the bags, they will be fined Rs 500 and Rs 100 respectively.
