Bijukchhe’s advice

Bhaktapur, November 9:

President of the Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party, Narayan Man Bijukchhe, has said that Nepali ambassadors should work to cement relations of Nepal with different countries.

Speaking at a greetings exchange programme organised by the Institutional School Teachers’ Association Nepal today, Bijukchhe said the envoys, in the past, were focused more on securing personal gains. He also emphasised the need for the teachers to give their students knowledge on contemporary issues, politics and border encroachment and take them on study tours.

Historian Dr Pursottam Lochan Shrestha shed light on various aspects of Nepal Sambat. President of the Association Chakra Hakatu presided over the programme.
