BHOJPUR: A man died after he was hit by a motorbike in Dharan on Monday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the deceased has been identified as Dil Bahadur Khadka (56).

Police informed that Khadka was hit by the two-wheeler (Ko 21 Pa 6806) in Bharan-8 along the Koshi Highway at around 10 am today.

Khadka, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rushed to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) but breathed his last on the way.

Police said that he used to make a living by begging in the area.

Police said that they have impouned the bike and arrested its rider for investigation.
