BIRGUNJ: A business man was murdered by unidentified intruders who shot him to death on Sunday morning between 2-3 am.

The deceased has been identified as Binod Kumar Agrawal, 52, a cloth merchant of Main Road, Maiesthan, Birgunj.

According to the police the unidentified group had broken in through a channel gate of the main entrance of the shop and shot him in the corridor where he was sleeping. They added that the assailants shot one round of bullets into him.

The motive behind the murder is yet to be established.
