Birgunj fire guts property worth Rs 400,000
BIRGUNJ: Property worth around Rs 400,000 was destroyed by fire at Pokhariya Municipality in Parsa district on Wednesday, police said.
The fire gutted goods at a cosmetic shop that belonged to Manu Patel and a betel shop of Manish Patel at the same place.
The fire was put off with joint efforts from police and locals.
The cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, police added.
