One of the injured is in serious condition after the vehicle carrying officials of the High Court Birgunj fell into a ravine at Jurikhel.

A vehicle carrying the chief justice and registrar of the High Court Birgunj plunged about 60 metres into a ravine in Makawanpur on Tuesday morning, leaving six people injured.
The Province 3-01-002 Jha 5183 Scorpio lost control at Jurikhel in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6 and fell off the road into a ravine, according to police.
The injured have been identified as Chief Justice Gokarna Dangi, 57, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-9, Dang; Registrar Taradatta Badu, 51, of Dasharathchand Municipality-7, Baitadi; Badu's wife Laxmi Badu, 49; their son Ritendra Badu, 25; daughter Rita Badu, 31; and driver Chhunilal Chaudhary, 32, of Rapti Municipality-8, Dang.
Laxmi Badu is in serious condition, while the other five sustained moderate injuries, police said.
The injured were rescued and taken to Bhimphedi Hospital. They were being prepared for transfer to Kathmandu for further treatment, said Madhav Kafle, deputy superintendent of police and spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
A seven-member team from the Area Police Office, Bhimphedi, including traffic police, reached the accident site following the incident. A team led by Makwanpur District Police Chief Superintendent of Police Shyam Bahadur Khati also reached the site.
