RAMECHHAP: A body was found in a torched jeep in Majhuwa-1 of Ramechhap district on Thursday.

The body rendered as unidentifiable due to the burning was found on the back seat of the jeep (Me 1 Ja 2187).

The locals of the area had informed police about the incident after they had spotted the torched jeep at Nigalpani of the area.

Meanwhile, the District Police Office deployed a team to the incident site which is one-day walk from Manthali, informed the DPO chief Kumod Dhungel.

According to the records at the Dhumcha Police Station, it had entered the area at around 2 am.

Chief District Officer Prakash Chandra Adhikari said leaflets of a political group named Janamukti Sena was found at the incident site.
